Sera Rx LLC
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 11, 2026
1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
At Sera Rx LLC ("Sera RX," "we," "us," or "our"), we believe that access to telehealth and to the information people need to make decisions about their health should be available to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is not an afterthought for us; it is part of how we think about care.
We are committed to providing an inclusive, respectful, and barrier-free experience for all users of our website located at https://joinserarx.com (the "Platform") and of the related products, features, content, and services we make available through it (collectively, the "Service"). This includes people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech-recognition software, alternative input devices, and keyboard-only navigation, as well as people with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, or other disabilities.
This Accessibility Statement explains the steps we take to make the Service accessible, the standards we work toward, the limitations we are aware of, and how you can request assistance, an accommodation, or an alternative way of accessing the Service. It also explains how to tell us when something does not work for you, so we can fix it.
We welcome your feedback. Hearing directly from the people who use our Service is one of the most important ways we learn where we can do better.
2. Standards We Work Toward (Conformance Target)
We aim to make the Service conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG defines a widely recognized set of requirements for making web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a broad range of disabilities.
In working toward Level AA, we also strive to honor the spirit and purpose of:
- the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its goal of full and equal access to goods, services, and information for people with disabilities; and
- the accessibility principles reflected in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which incorporates WCAG as its technical baseline for electronic and information technology.
"Conformance target" means the standard we measure ourselves against and design toward. We describe our progress honestly: we are committed to substantial conformance and continuous improvement, and we acknowledge in Section 5 that some content may not yet fully meet every success criterion at all times. References to specific standards are provided to describe our goals and are not an admission of any particular legal obligation or finding.
3. Measures We Take
Accessibility is an ongoing program at Sera RX, not a one-time project. The measures we take include the following.
3.1 Accessibility in Design and Development
- We consider accessibility as part of our design and development process, rather than treating it as a separate step at the end.
- We use semantic structure, descriptive headings, meaningful link text, form labels, and text alternatives for non-text content where appropriate.
- We design for keyboard operability, visible focus, sufficient color contrast, and content that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels.
- We aim to avoid conveying information through color alone and to provide clear, plain-language instructions.
3.2 Testing and Evaluation
- We test key user flows with assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
- We use a combination of automated accessibility checks and manual review during development and before significant releases.
- We re-evaluate areas of the Service as we update them and as accessibility standards and assistive technologies evolve.
3.3 People and Awareness
- We work to build accessibility awareness among the team members who design, build, and write content for the Service.
- We treat accessibility feedback and requests as a priority and route them to people who can act on them.
3.4 Continuous Improvement
- We monitor for accessibility issues over time and incorporate fixes into our ongoing work.
- We periodically review this Statement and our practices and update them as our Service and the applicable standards change.
4. Compatibility With Browsers and Assistive Technologies
The Service is designed to be compatible with current and widely used web browsers, operating systems, and assistive technologies. For the best and most reliable experience, we recommend using up-to-date software.
4.1 Browsers
The Service is intended to work with recent versions of major web browsers, including:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Apple Safari
- Microsoft Edge
We recommend keeping your browser updated to the latest stable version. Significantly older or unsupported browsers may not render all features correctly and may not fully support accessibility features.
4.2 Assistive Technologies
The Service is intended to be usable with common assistive technologies, including:
- screen readers (for example, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack);
- screen magnification software;
- speech-recognition and voice-control software;
- keyboard-only navigation, including standard keyboard shortcuts for focus and form interaction; and
- operating-system accessibility features such as increased text size, high-contrast modes, and reduced-motion settings.
Because assistive technologies and browsers are developed by third parties and are frequently updated, the experience can vary depending on the specific combination of software and versions you use. Using current versions of both your browser and your assistive technology generally provides the best experience.
5. Known Limitations and Third-Party Content
We are committed to accessibility, and we are honest about the fact that this is ongoing work. Despite our efforts, some content or features may not yet be fully accessible at all times, and you may occasionally encounter a barrier.
Known and possible limitations include:
- Third-party content and integrations. Some parts of the Service rely on content, tools, or components provided by third parties (for example, payment processing, identity or eligibility verification, scheduling, messaging, video or telehealth visit tools, embedded media, maps, analytics, or links to outside websites). We do not control these third-party services, and they may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA. We encourage providers of these services to maintain accessible products, but we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
- User-generated or dynamically generated content. Content created or updated dynamically may not always meet every success criterion immediately.
- Legacy or newly released content. Older materials and brand-new features may take additional time to bring fully in line with our accessibility goals.
If you encounter a barrier anywhere in the Service, including in third-party content, please tell us using the contact details in Section 8. Even where we cannot directly change a third party's product, we can often provide the information or assistance you need through an alternative method, and we can raise the issue with the third party.
6. Accessibility of Telehealth and Communicating With Providers
Sera RX is a telehealth technology platform that connects patients with licensed healthcare providers ("Providers") for cash-pay care, including evaluation and, where clinically appropriate, treatment with compounded GLP-1 medications such as semaglutide and tirzepatide. Accessibility includes making sure that patients with disabilities can use the Service and communicate effectively with Providers.
6.1 Non-Discrimination
Consistent with our Patient Bill of Rights, Sera RX is committed to non-discrimination. Patients are entitled to access the Service and to participate in their care without discrimination on the basis of disability. We do not deny access to the Service, or treat patients differently in the care they may receive, because a patient has a disability or requests an accommodation.
6.2 Requesting an Accommodation
If you need an accommodation to access the Service, to complete any part of the patient journey, or to communicate with a Provider, you can request one. Examples of accommodations we may be able to provide include:
- assistance completing intake forms, questionnaires, or other required information;
- alternative formats for important information (for example, plain-text or large-print versions of materials, or content read or described to you);
- additional time or support to review information before making a decision; and
- reasonable adjustments to how you communicate with our team or with a Provider, where feasible.
To request an accommodation, contact us using the details in Section 8. Please describe what you are trying to do and the type of assistance or format that would work best for you. The more detail you can share, the better we can help. We will work with you in good faith to identify a reasonable accommodation. Some requests may require coordination with a Provider or a third party, and certain clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating Provider.
6.3 Important Note
An accommodation request relates to access and communication. It does not change the clinical judgment of a Provider, the eligibility criteria for any medication, or the terms that govern use of the Service. Your use of the Service remains subject to our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Patient Bill of Rights.
7. Feedback and Reporting Accessibility Barriers
Your feedback helps us improve. If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of the Service, encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information or assistance in an accessible format, please let us know.
When you contact us, it helps to include:
- a description of the problem or what you were trying to do;
- the web address (URL) or section of the Service where you experienced the issue;
- the browser, operating system, and any assistive technology (and versions) you were using; and
- the best way for us to reach you and respond.
Expected response time. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback and assistance requests within five (5) business days. Some issues can be resolved quickly; others may take longer to investigate and fix. When a resolution will take additional time, we will tell you and, where reasonable, offer an alternative way to access the information or complete the task in the meantime.
You can reach us using the contact details in Section 8. Accessibility requests can be directed to the same contact.
8. Contact Us
We welcome your questions, feedback, and requests for assistance related to accessibility. Accessibility requests, feedback, and reports of barriers can be directed to us at:
Email: hello@serarx.com (Please include "Accessibility" in the subject line so we can route your message quickly. Accessibility-related requests can be sent to this address.)
Mail: Sera Rx LLC Attn: Accessibility 86 Oakwood Road Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250
If you need help and email or mail is not accessible to you, let us know your preferred method of contact and we will do our best to accommodate it.
9. Formal Complaints and Escalation
If you have raised an accessibility concern and you do not believe it was adequately addressed, you may submit a formal complaint. To do so, contact us using the details in Section 8 and clearly mark your message as a "Formal Accessibility Complaint." Please include a description of the issue, any prior correspondence or reference details, and the outcome you are seeking.
We will review formal complaints promptly and respond in writing. We aim to acknowledge a formal complaint within five (5) business days and to provide a substantive response, or a timeline for one, as soon as reasonably practicable. We treat formal complaints as an opportunity to improve the Service for everyone.
This process is intended to help us resolve issues directly with you and does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
10. Governing Law
This Accessibility Statement, and any dispute relating to it, is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute, to the extent permitted by law, shall be the state and federal courts located in Duval County, Florida. This provision does not expand or limit any obligations described in our Terms and Conditions, which continues to govern your use of the Service.
11. Changes to This Statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, our practices, applicable standards, or applicable law. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this Statement. The version of the Statement bearing the most recent effective date supersedes any prior versions. We encourage you to review this Statement periodically. Your continued use of the Service after an updated Statement takes effect indicates your awareness of the current version.
12. Related Documents
This Accessibility Statement should be read together with our other policies, which contain additional important terms:
- Terms and Conditions — the terms that govern your use of the Platform and the Service.
- Privacy Policy — how we collect, use, and protect your information.
- Patient Bill of Rights — your rights as a patient, including our commitment to non-discrimination.
If you would like any of these documents in an accessible format, please contact us using the details in Section 8.
